Halloween is approaching fast which means our season is changing and it also means time to feed your skin and keep up its moisture. Drinking lots of water keeps the skin hydrated and most important thing is that water is a natural detoxing agent, it helps you cleanse and purify your body while you sweat it out. Besides water, make sure you apply (and reapply) your sunblocks all year round especially in the winter. Last month, I received Tatcha's new product: Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen. I am telling you, the moment I received their heart-warming box, not only it reminds me to continue pampering my skin but also demonstrate how serious Tatcha treats their product and their customers. I patiently give it a try for a month and finally I can share this NOT-a-SECRET and wonderful beauty product with you.

My skin are thin and slightly sensitive so I always on the lookout for a nature but effective sunblocks. Tatcha's Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen offers SPF35 broad spectrum protection which contains Japanese Wild Rose ( I am a sucker for all rose products from rose water to rose blended perfume candles..), Licorice, Silk and Loquat Leaf extracts. This sunblocks smells heavenly and since I am not a no-scent-means-nature-ingredient person, this slightly scented sunblock wins my heart already. Reading their booklet about this product, it claims to reduce the appearance of pores and smoothes skin for a glowing complexion. I would say I am satisfied with the silky smooth touch after applying the sunblock but since I don't have large pores to begin with, I can't really tell how much my pores are diminished afterward. ha~ thanks to a healthy life style that I drink in moderation and keep up 7 hours sleep while I can. One more thing I like about Tatcha' Silken sunscreen is lightweight that I still can apply my B.B. Cream or foundation on top of it without caking up my face. I am not a big fan of all the heavily contouring which swamped over the Internet. Moderation is everything.
Last but not the least, Silken has additional antioxidant ingredient so while you bask in the sun you know you are in good hand with additional pamper from HADASEI-3 bioactive complex in Tatcha's sunscreen. Love it ~
