I want this Chloe purple Sally when it first came out; However, I told myself that I am staying w/ Chanel period so I didn't plan to buy it but I appreciate its muted elegance ever since.
I didn't know the purple and the orange Sally go on sale since I am just back from vacation. But, you know, during the sale season, you really should just stay home, otherwise, you will end of liking me, accidentally bought this gorgeous Chloe orange Sally home today.
Since it is a very "challenging", and "rich" orange, I have no clue how should I pull off the bag....I need more inspiration. I searched online but didn't see any celebrity carrying an orange Sally and even only a few carrying true orange bag. Oh....well, I think I will start from black ensemble pairing it w/ my Hermes ostrich belt then. Can't go wrong w/ anything black!!
Luckily, this orange Sally has double compartments which might even fit a bit more than Chanel class medium flap or reissue bag.
Don't laugh, you must be wondering why do I like this Dior dress so much?? In fact, when the first day I bought this Vintage Dior two pieces dress and after done altering it to one-shouldered blouse, I want to wear it to public as often as I can. Do you think I am too stubborn?? :P
Now I need to think of a pair of heels!

i got a Gucci tattoo Joy tote 3 weeks ago. i have been using it since.
still, it doesnt mean i am in a bag mood. i have not used my chanel bags much. you would think PPT and PST are good for casual wears. but for my life style, they are still a bit too delicate.
i like your maxmara clogs. i bet you will get a lot of use out of them. :) i did to my clogs. they called me for a visit to their store since they are having a sale now. i have not made to the store... i have been going to the places for my son only.
i did buy a few capri, shorts...sneakers, flats...

I just bought that clog heels and have not wore it out yet. Maybe sometime this week then. :>
You know what? I've been eyeing this Chloe Sally bag as well as Chloe Paraty bag for the longest time ever too!! LOL!! Coz the Sally bag looks like Chanel chain bag but with a twist. I like it. Just that my DH won't let me buy any other brands except Chanel for bags. He said I can only carry Chanel and Hermes in the future. Hahahaha! Well not that I mind, but sometimes, I find that bags from other designers are more "interesting".
Anyway, congrats on your new Chloe Sally bag and Max Mara clogs! Can't wait for you to model them!
For the Chloe orange Sally bag, I think it will look good with khaki/beige/taupe colors or light gray. Or if you like shocking color, try pink with orange! Hehehe....!
U haven't been in the forum for a while. I have no mood at all to model or do my reveals coz what's happening here in HK. The swine flu is getting worse and there's news every day of new cases in primary/secondary schools. That's why our Education Bureau decided to stop all classes in nursery & primary schools and they are all closed now. So scary...I hope it's not an epidemic like SARS.

Congrats on your new Chloe!! I have an orange-colored bag like it, and I like to pair mine with navy blue, since blue and orange are complementary colors. Also, this orange is not too bright, it's more of burnt-orange, so you can wear it all year round. Very good buy!!! Are you going to buy a purple one too?
Orange is fantastic with cool rich jewel colors, like emerald green amethyst purple, turquoise etc.. I also like it with a total white look, and metallic gold sandals!

Michelle: yah, I know, I have no mood in modeling odj...but I think I will do that again in the near future.
I know focus on Chanel and Hermes is great as an investment plan...but we know, sometimes, certain look just needed different twist from other brands....I guess I can no longer hold on only Chanel ..aha.......

I've never looked much into Chloe bags but this orange Sally is a beauty! I really like how it has two compartments and the delicate chain. Id' love to see it on you some time (though probably not at Whole Foods).

oh...yah, I wore my MaxMara clog heels yesterday and today I carried my Orange Sally...I didn't came out a black nor blue nor white ensemble w/ it since I love colors and especially deep, rich colors. So..we will see how is the pic. turns out.
I took kids to Berkeley (Emeryville) yesterday w/ my high school pal. They have great furniture outlet there...such as EQ3 (crate n' berry's cataloge line) and Ikea, West Elm. I bought something to update our room. :)
