I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them? iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we parents can do is to support them, guide them, and listen to them. Never force our value onto them until you understand what your children are going through. Capiche???
You probably don't want to read my self "enlightened" mumbling so let's cut to the chase. We enroute to Berkeley and savored some scones and cheese, before we arrived at Reno. And of course, me, in my fashionable attire-- nothing new. I love how mature my awe-inspiring daughter has become. On the road we often-- or I often-- in fact, rant to her about life and about... some couple's problem/relationship. Most of the time she would nod and sometimes she said she wasn't even listening. Oh well, she is officially my bestie (E/N of course I'm her bestie, I'm her editor/daughter). Love her so much.
Isn't bikini essential when you travel?
Recycle my fashion in Reno. Oldies, but goodies, eh?
The Christian Louboutin studded clutch from Man's collection with strap is currently in season. Women's collection has almost the same doodle drawing but it lacks a cool attitude without the studs.
Of course I have to make a dramatic entrance entering my room.
I thought I would've inhaled all the second hand smoke in the hotel room so I brought my humidifier (lemongrass & Rose essential oils). Now our room smells heavenly.
If you followed my instagram, you know I am a cheese lover. Those are just half of the Cheese in my fridge at home which I brought over with me. I don't waste food!
Hope you enjoy my less-than-perfect & just-come-back to blogsphere updates.
Until next time, my readers. xoxo Jade
