Street Smart and Book Smart!.

Often, I hear my friends talking about how different their kids' personalities are. One is book-smart, the other is street-smart, or one is good with science and math while the other is good at art and reading minds. Isn't that what makes parenting so dynamic and challenging? Everyone has different traits and we all try to dig out the best of us to be the best version of ourselves. Every stage of life is a process of learning and struggling and then succeeding and conquering. I find myself lucky in a way that I am able to express my true feelings and identify myself down the road.  While made mistakes, I still have the blessing to embrace the love and forgiveness from my loved ones.  My son told me the other day why Michael Jackson needed to do so many concerts and performances. I was curious what's his answer! He said:" Cause he needed the money." He continued: "Cuz he did drugs. He needed drug money." I couldn't laugh nor agree with what his conc

A Posh Trousers Look plus SmashBox.

First off, I am not a make-up guru but I try to do a nature and precise look whenever I committed to do "make-up". The foundation is crucial but not necessary if you already have a porcelain-quality skin. I am very dedicated to fight off the aging process and look for ways to keep up a youthful look. Recently, I have been obsessed with essential oils. Lavender, Rose, Frankincense, Bergamot, Lemongrass ...etc. to name a few. Not only do I use them in my diffuser, but also on my skin. I am telling you that the emollient effect of essential oils does to your skin is incredible!! Well, give it a try yourself and thank me later. Alright, the point is I want to share with you the amazing Smashbox primer I had on last Saturday. I dabbed it all over my face "after" my application of sunblocks. Let sunblocks dry a bit before next steps. The Primer will provide a shield prior your foundation application. I don't normally apply foundations but if I do, primer first is a w

Always Posh in my Own Styles.

I had a busy week, plus the last bits of planning for NYC trip.   Dinner and brunch reservations, and we even bought Hamilton musical tickets. Since we are visiting NYC during Memorial weekend, hope we can find some good bargain shopping in The Big Apple too. One thing I am sure with this girls' trip is we are going to have tons of fun before one of my gf goes to law school this fall. It is a clean slate for her and I am sure it will also be a magnificent journey down the road.  Back to my all time passion: Fashion. I like fine garments and I collect them to do mix and match over past seasons. However, what makes my style unique is intricate cuttings and perfect fitting that flatter my body. I don't follow trends just to claim I am fashion forward. I have my own methods of sorting through marketing injected advertisements for the best seasonal looks. Popularity isn't gained from what brands you wear but what styles you choose to wear. I wear street fashion in discreti

The Gastronomy Gathering of my Fashionable Flocks!

Last Saturday, us girls went to Mourad restaurant to try Moroccan food in the city.  Even though it is acclaimed as Michelin 1 star, and I have dined there more than 5 times but never tried their tasting menu.  We decided to give it a try.   Honestly, I was still as excited as I was the 1st time I went. That's a spot I will always be happy to invite friends to. As an avid wine drinker, I appreciate Jose,  a reputable sommelier in Mourad,  who shares his knowledge about various wine regions and answers my many questions. It is a true wine tasting experience outside Napa.  First off, the champagne!!!  We were surprised by an array of "pre-appetizers"  before our tasting menu.  The hospitality and generosity definitely won our hearts over. We started from oysters. The oysters are beautifully dressed with chopped apples and flowers which is like a precious pearl glimmering in the summer ocean. I couldn't help myself-- I devoured it, but still appreciated it as if it wer
