First off, I am not a make-up guru but I try to do a nature and precise look whenever I committed to do "make-up". The foundation is crucial but not necessary if you already have a porcelain-quality skin. I am very dedicated to fight off the aging process and look for ways to keep up a youthful look. Recently, I have been obsessed with essential oils. Lavender, Rose, Frankincense, Bergamot, Lemongrass ...etc. to name a few. Not only do I use them in my diffuser, but also on my skin. I am telling you that the emollient effect of essential oils does to your skin is incredible!! Well, give it a try yourself and thank me later. Alright, the point is I want to share with you the amazing Smashbox primer I had on last Saturday. I dabbed it all over my face "after" my application of sunblocks. Let sunblocks dry a bit before next steps. The Primer will provide a shield prior your foundation application. I don't normally apply foundations but if I do, primer first is a way to go. I like how Smashbox primer leaves my skin very moist and supple all night.

(Why is the pink cap? It is limited. $5 from each purchase benefits The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the sale.)
This top from CO won the best shapes and the most practical shirt IMO. Couldn't bear the fuss of sweeping my sleeves and catch satin. Even the sleeves are elaborated as such, I have no problem enjoying my fine dinning the entire night.
The primer also helps to set the eyeshadows and plushes.
(Not ideal for oily skin)

This is taken in the elevator to Eight Table.
Two cocktails. I really enjoy the Cherrywood Negroni ( top right )which has amazing wood scent and taste like bourbon without overly sweet taste.
Appetizers
When foodies gathered together, we can't stop talking about food and wine the whole night.
We added extra abalone and A5 Wagyu beef. The perfect marble fat of this 4 oz. Wagyu beef just burst into my mouse. The Napa Cab. I brought is perfectly paired with it.
Bottles of wines definitely caught my attention.
Thanks to Anthony that he showed how Clear Thai ice tea is made. He filters milk himself and made this incredible "Whey" Thai tea cocktail. Complimentary to us at the end of our meals.
That is the birthday celebration for our friend at Eight Table by George Chen. It is an incredible experience to do fine dining together and to reminiscence some dishes I had in my childhood.
Love life, love friends!
