It's Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday and finally I have a break from my hectic schedule to update my blog. I was contacted by the travel expert Kendra Thornton to participate in her upcoming "Trip to Miami" challenge. The Challenge is that Kendra asked me to create a wardrobe for her trip to South Beach, where she’s going to be vacationing with her husband. How romantic~
Ok, here is a little bio of her.
Kendra is a mother of three. She is a well known travel expert and has been featured on several news channels and shows such as Tyra Banks and Nate Berkus. She wants to look chic, comfortable yet trendy while travel and I believe the looks I created for her is going to make everyone turn head for her. Best yet, I picked one dress from Roland Mouret for her. Ooh la la~~~

I haven't been able to spend time along with my hubby for awhile. We are always going places for work or with the kids. It's going to be a great change just to get away and be with one another in Miami. I love this city for all of its beauty and fashion appeal. When I started to look at Miami and I found that a lot of the hotels in South Beach were quite posh and luxurious, which made me take a second look at my wardrobe. I'm in desperate need of some help.
Part of our trip will be spent at the Delano South Beach Hotel. Gogobot has a ton of pictures of this place, and it's absolutely gorgeous. The interiors feature hardwood floors, tall windows, tufted furniture and a large swimming pool steps from the beach. Our suite is incredibly nice, and I feel so lucky to have gotten this hotel room with my husband. He also went all out and reserved me a day at the hotel's spa called Club Essentia. Going to this hotel is a dream come true, and I want some outfits that are perfect for the swanky atmosphere but can also translate to going to the beach or walking around Miami's fashion boutiques, museums and art galleries.
When I go to Club Essentia, it would be awesome to have a look that's very comfortable that I can change in and out of easily. I'll be getting some beauty treatments and even a massage so i feel super relaxed. Afterwards, I think we'll walk around South Beach at night and find some great places to dance and grab a few drinks. For these evenings, a beautiful dress and some heels to match would be ideal. We'll probably take a look around Little Havana and maybe even catch a boat ride out to the islands surrounding Miami beaches too. A new swimsuit would certainly help me spice up my mommy wardrobe even more. I'll be taking pictures during our adventures and sharing them with all my family and friends.
