Take on of Street Fashion!

Street fashion, almost everyone can dress his/her own style and to be uniquely identified as street fashion!!  I probably are recuperating myself from the Orlando trip and I have no desire to put on high fashion heels or layer my big brand clothes. Therefore, street fashion totally suits my mood these days.

Fall in California is perfect for layering clothes. When I was in Orlando, it is scorching hot and I was thinking about how lucky I am living in North Cal. that I will be able to do light layerings of my clothes and have fun with my outfits. But when I am now back here in San Francisco, surfing the Internet seeing all those models/celebrities/socialites in heavy winter coats almost suffocate me... lol... Speaking of warm weather, I really should start planning Sydney/Melbourne trip during Thanksgiving!!!! (............ ... oh... yeah... I should... )

Back to street fashion, I bought this black wrap scarf early Oct. and it is so creatively designed that I can wear it around my neck, wrap my bottom or maybe some other way that I have to fugue it out in the future. I am telling you, with the volatile weather in California, a scarf is a total save as* add-on accessory you should have a ton in your wardrobe. Wrap skirt seemly is another fashion come-back this year, but instead of buying new season ones, the white past-season Ann Demuleumeester I dug out from the bottom of my drawer is just perfect contrast here. With the killer accessories, Nubu clutch and Valentino studded boots, I am feeling so IN!

I also love layering my tanks and the key is they need to be in different volume or length to create an easy breezy effect. Now writing this blog I just realized that I am into burgundy color this season. The Valentino boots and the wool hat bought at Orlando premium outlet, it is the punch of color in my both ensembles.  Again, "chic", doesn't have to be in tailored clothes, but definitely need to look put-together at the end, right?

Knit tank, Ann Denuleumeester wrap skirt, Valentino boots, Nubu leather clutch, Karen Walker sunnies, Bobkova black knitting scarf

Big knit scarf always has its cozy, and relaxed look.

A perfect breeze with an asymmetrical skirt here.

Layered tanks and a wool hat definitely keep me warm when suddenly the temperature drops.

Michael Angel printed tank, organic silk tank, J Brand super skinny jeans, the Kooples combat boots, Wool hat, Hermes Picotin in Berinia, Oliver People sunglasses
The Kooples combat boots has the tough look, love~~

Scarf, combat boots, wrap skirt, are you ready for fall?
xoxo Rachel

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…

4/12 (Sun.) Day 2 in Vegas w/ Girl Friends!

First of all, I have to thank Irene for coordinating every one's schedule to make this dream trip happen.

On Sunday, we planned to treat ourselves to a beauty spa in Mandalay Bay Hotel. Our appointment at The Bathhouse spa is at 1 PM. But since yesterday we stood up so late, we didn't wake up until 11 AM. However, neither Cathy nor I think we actually fell asleep as we were still so exhausted when waked up. And I am the one who slept the least but got up from the bed the first. I went to gamble alone after clubbing till 5 or 6 in the morning. Well, the time in Vegas is too luxury to stay in bed anyway. lol Pei probably slept not bad at all as I can hear she snores persistently throughout the night. haha............

We each had either Swedish or Deep-muscle massage. I recall my last massage is when I traveled back to Taiwan. My Dad took us family to Thailand and he called for two people to our room. In Thailand, most massagers' body frame are small-built but I am surpri…
