Strawberry Loves to Dance....

Coincidentally, I had feather on me these couple days.  Furs are fun but it has been around for so many seasons that finally something fresh, "feather", came along and I feel like playing around with the new looks with it.  Sorry about not being so active on my blog these days as everyday my schedule is filled with my kids' school and extracurricular activities after 2 PM.  And you know how things can be all piled up if you don't keep up everyday's schedules and those house chores can occupy you a lot of time as well.   But it doesn't mean I don't dress up everyday. I still do and I get more inspirations from life and places I go nowadays. Inspiration is how you see things differently from different angle of life and from people surround you, isn't it?? I have two Chanel boucle' jackets and every winter, I'd remember to wear them out as they are just gorgeous and classic. This white Chanel from Shanghai collection was inquired last year and I am still in awe for its chic style whenever I put it on. Isabel Marant pullover sweater, Chanel 10' jacket, Burberry Prorsum 11' boucle pants, Zara fringe boots, Hermes Berania Picotin  Almost everything is past season piece except for couple accessories I put on to freshen up my look and they are ostrich necklace, Hermes bag, and Chanel booties Erin Kleinberg embellished pocket tee, Marni 10' houndstooth upside-down two way jacket, Helmut Lang suede burgundy pants, leather collar with beads, Brunello Cucinelli ostrich necklace, Whole foods Market bought striped gloves/mittens (2 ways for wearing w or w/o fingers), Chanel booties 11' We had Christmas party with friends at Cafe' Tiramisu in SF city and the Squid Ink Linguini with fresh crab...

It's all starting from my friend, Isabel , who talks me into Marni.  But don't get me wrong, I do love Marni at first sight but she is the one persuades me digging into Marni's look religiously every season.  My ODJ Max & Co. sheer with glitter shirt, Marni 11' printed top with ruffle details, Brunello Cucinelli 11/12' ostrich fur necklace/collar, Marni 10' pants with gray wool panel at calf, Marni 11' cocoon coat, Balenciaga sunglasses, Hermes Picotin in Barenia with orange horse shoe charm, Chanel 11' cut-out bootie I think the ostrich feather sorta makes the prints on Marni's top fun and alive~~  Chanel 11' cut-out peep-toe booties (Currently on sale at NM)  Have fun mix n' match your same brand past or current season pieces! xoxo Rachel
