A paradise trip in Bali, Indonesia.

I have been neglected my blog for a while but definitely not neglect fashion trends nor heathy life style. As a matter of fact, if you browse my side bar on FB, you will see lots of updates and even my IG is full of updates too. Well, I know, that is not an excuse for not updating my blog here.

I have traveled back to my hometown Taipei 3 times this year and I am surprised that I still enjoy flying so much after quitting a flight attendant 10 years ago.  I also went to Bali and stayed at Mulia, this world class resort, with my family and relatives. I had the best time, best water-rafting experience and took the best yoga pictures there.  So here it is slowly catching up as my hectic life with travel, house remodeling, shopping, yoga advance.....etc. I hope you continue be inspired and enjoy our life journey together.

I am not quite a sun-bathing enthusiast but oh well, I was there on vacation and I really don't think I should worry so much about getting tan. That's one of the purpose - get a healthy and glowy tan when travel after all.

I really enjoyed the best temperature and the best water in Bali.

Private pool outside our room in Mulia. There are only 8 rooms have the access to this private pool and we family occupied 3 along with 2 occupied by others. Every morning we can just open the back door and jump right in the pool for a morning swim.

My next trip, Spain.
stay tuned.
xoxo Rachel

Always Posh in my Own Styles.

I had a busy week, plus the last bits of planning for NYC trip.  Dinner and brunch reservations, and we even bought Hamilton musical tickets. Since we are visiting NYC during Memorial weekend, hope we can find some good bargain shopping in The Big Apple too. One thing I am sure with this girls' trip is we are going to have tons of fun before one of my gf goes to law school this fall. It is a clean slate for her and I am sure it will also be a magnificent journey down the road.
Back to my all time passion: Fashion. I like fine garments and I collect them to do mix and match over past seasons. However, what makes my style unique is intricate cuttings and perfect fitting that flatter my body. I don't follow trends just to claim I am fashion forward. I have my own methods of sorting through marketing injected advertisements for the best seasonal looks. Popularity isn't gained from what brands you wear but what styles you choose to wear. I wear street fashion in discretion just…

Wedge + Clog ! MINE is Clog + Heel!

pic. courtesy from WhoWhatWhere website.

I came across this Max Mara clog heels. I can't help myself buying it.

Now I am very excited.....why? Cause' it is extraordinary. I love the golden studded along the leather and since I don't like wedge too much, this stiletto is perfect for me.

So, did you see the bottom picture to the right? Kate Olsen!!? or Dree Hemingway's looks might work w/ Max Mara clog heels. ( Whose pic. is the very first one w/ fuchsia vest) Normally I am not a copy cat, but this time, I will see if I have something similar like what she wears w/. Yes, that will be a good start to tackle this pair of heels.

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
