Prada Baroque!

Missed my girl friends so much while I was away for my yoga teacher training. Then I found this painting with glamorous women with powerful attitude the other day while shopping for furniture for our new house.  The colors are so vibrant and the additional touch ups on this printed painting makes each character so vivid and fun.  At the mean time, Prada blue tortoise baroque sunglasses came in time, they both are beyond perfect for the state of my mood right now!  Both Prada, left Prada 2013, right Prada 2012 Life goes on and on, cherish every moment of it.   xoxo Rachel

Fashion's Day Out!!

We don't have that kinda of luxury to fly to NYC for a big fashion's night out but it doesn't mean that we dress less stylish in SF city or in the suburban.  Fashion certainly doesn't only exist on the runway, nor less accessible in the suburban, it exists everywhere. {I am a total believer of what Coco Chanel said.} My girl friends and I had a casual lunch today. All of us dressed up distinctively to whatever our life style fits.   Ann dresses up with a blazer as it makes her look posh and more professional at work. In the meantime, a floral dress makes her less provocative when addressing things/meeting with clients. {This has something to do with Psychological point of view... you know!!} As for Pei, she works whenever so she can dress up any style she wants on those non-working days. Then since I don't have to work  (at all), I play with different "styles" almost everyday. Yu, not so much of a trouble-dresser, she dresses up whenever she wanted ...

Now and Later Style...continued.....

Textured velvet and rich hues are symbiotical. It makes a perfect look for fall during transitional season. Obviously, I couldn't get enough of red all year round and thanks to the current red rave, why not dress in red and enjoy the good luck!     I know, maybe I should have set my house in Moroccan style such as..... walking down this  arching ceilings and colorful tiles..... or.. drinking exotic fruit juice with all my lovely girl friends at this fire pit!!!!!  pic. source: (hyperlink)  The inspiration of my look comes from this mirrored hairband.  {Pei, I am glad that I bought this hairband, so exotic!} There are pleats everywhere on me.  Max & Co. deep purple velvet button-up shirt (past season), metallic burgundy pleated maxi skirt, Hermes Orange Collier De Chien, Ann Tylor brass bib necklace, J crew triangle  dangled earring, momo's March full sun bracelet, Lanvin leopard happy sac, Kron by Kron Kron shoes...

This and That......

"Sequins" is like leopard pattern, a forever piece if you wear it right!!  Keep the whole look simple is the key. {Of course you might play the game differently if you are going to Las Vegas, right?! }  The Dolce & Gabbana look is from Aug. fashion magazine which totally reminds myself my cheap sequined legging from  Romeo & Julia. { bought at Loehman}  Realway Vs. Runway! Today my girl friends and I went out for lunch and to get together for my birthday. I couldn't believe my eyes as their personal style just got better and better and most importantly, I love all the gifts they picked for me. ^O^ {Yeah, this is the evil side of me when only think of myself.} But seriously, they are willing to have photos taken and under one condition: Make sure they all look pretty! {Hooray!!}  On Pei: Zara top, Celine "Box" camel bag. She is very vintage-y look today.  {The facial expression on her just earned her another 10 points..... 99 pts. lo...
