As usual, we stayed in the city last Memorial Day weekend. What's not usual to me is I don't have a whole wardrobe there in our apartment and I would panic. I don't think I like the slightest doubt of  what if ... what if  a key piece is missing or not available to complete my look while the stay in the city. Oh, man, .. no ~~ :P  Wear the same outfit??  Heck, no way, neither~ But I guess it is pretty silly to pack 3 ensembles with me to flaunt in the city just over the weekend. So what I did is I grabbed my shorts, blazer and couple freshly shipped denim shirt and tights from Shopbop this time.  You know what, I must come up a better packing strategy in the future. I kept that Zara printed blue shirt/jacket away from me in the apartment in the city. The halcyon skies are a good harbinger of a pleasant gathering. Yes, the past couple weeks, I had a great time with my girl friends, and family friends as we all try to catch up what's our new year's resolution in 2012. Unsurprisingly, there are new ones and there are repeated ones from last year, including mine.  My kids were watching " Yes, Virginia " which is based on a true story movie of a 11-year-old girl who tries to find the proof of whether there is a Santa Clause. { I know, Christmas is over but kids just love the story regardless.}   Of course it is a happy ending and I particularly like the positive message sent out by the story: "Santo Clause lives forever in the youth's dream and when there is HOPE, there is always ways to make the world a better place".  "When you see it in the Sun, it is so!!!"   I love watching cartoons with my kids and it is certainly a good way of bonding with them. I have a way to max. out the versatility from my wardrobe!!  My friend, Yu, asked me the other day, "You have worn your gold tulip pants bought from Rome so many times, will it be like "duplicated look" if you wear it again?" Let the day begins with a informative tour!! No, in Taipei, I don't wear HEELS that much compares to living in USA.  It is just I walk too much that I don't want to ruin my precious heels. ^O^ Yesterday, every place we visited is delicate for children.   I love the soft touch of silk and satin on me and so does my hubby. We handle our family, kids, kids' school, work, house chores, ..... etc. fast and efficiently and at the mean time, we definitely try our best enjoy our life, slow down the aging process and cherish our friends and family!!! My comfy outfit before big night that we girls go out for fun. This time our girls' night out theme is SUMMER WHITE!! I made that theme because it is fun and also because I bought this Tsumori Chisato drapy dress which made it easier for me. :P   Everyone did a great job of interpreting SUMMER WHITE!  Love you all, my gals!!  No, we are not street vender selling shoes off the street, we simply help Pei to choose between those flats for her. lol.
