Modern Pop Art Fashion (Part II)

Last Saturday we girls had a blast at Cathy's POP ART party. We went to Castro st. in San Francisco and had French food at Bisou Bistro in the neighborhood. As promised, I am here to share our outfits with you. Everyone has their own interpretation of what's Modern pop art look is and we are so happy that we get to know the history of how does it originate. You know, it is important to do our homework before our trying to put pieces together for Cathy's special event. So, here it is for my dearest friend, Cathy.  Happy birthday, Cathy!!!  Ooh la la~~~ Cathy me and Catherine Catherine Yu, Cathy and me. Weekend in San Francisco.

San Francisco is considered having the best weather in United States but New York is probably the best city to experience what distinctive four seasons should be. While my friend and I were in New York, people told us that they can tolerant the cruel and cold winter in New York just fine but wish it is shorter!!  One of the ladies we chatted while dined at Le Bernadine said that "The longer the winter gets, the deeper the depression she becomes." lol... I guess 5 months cold winter time is quite long including those snowy days.   Well, just count our blessings that we are pretty lucky here in California.  We have choices whether or not we want a snow flight, or a ski trip, we simply hop in our van and drive our way to pay a visit on Lake Tahoe or Colorado for a ski trip.  Dries Van Noten blouse 2012, Preen leather pants with brats, Stella McCartney jacquard blazer, Givenchy chain boots.  Cheers! xoxo Rachel

All about Shorts.

As usual, we stayed in the city last Memorial Day weekend. What's not usual to me is I don't have a whole wardrobe there in our apartment and I would panic. I don't think I like the slightest doubt of  what if ... what if  a key piece is missing or not available to complete my look while the stay in the city. Oh, man, .. no ~~ :P  Wear the same outfit??  Heck, no way, neither~ But I guess it is pretty silly to pack 3 ensembles with me to flaunt in the city just over the weekend. So what I did is I grabbed my shorts, blazer and couple freshly shipped denim shirt and tights from Shopbop this time.  You know what, I must come up a better packing strategy in the future. I kept that Zara printed blue shirt/jacket away from me in the apartment in the city. Mentally, I guess I felt that shirt served me well and I have no problem to part it away in the future.  NOTE: Please enter yourself to SHOPBOP $100 giveaway. (ends June 5th)  Shine d...

Cozy summer!

I didn't update much nor write on my blog as diligent as I used to be. However, I assure you that my fashion sense isn't getting sluggish nor being out-dated at all.  It's just we bought a new apartment in the SF city and I am so busy in decorating it. You must agree with me how fun it is, right?  But when t oday I was up in our unit trying to put up this gorgeous chandelier with the aid of our contractor,  I can't tell you how many obstacles we ran into during the time of installation. Oh, well, but we managed it well and get it done by the end of the day.  Hooray~~    Speaking of trotting around in the city, you should know that it is always a good idea to bring an extra coat or something warm with you. The temperature varies dramatically from day to night in San Francisco.  I know couple friends of mine are visiting the city during summer time.  I am here to remind myself bringing extra jackets for my kids while we enjoy a city retrea...
