Strawberry Loves to Dance....

I guess I like to dress myself up more rather than dress myself down. Of course, the whole  look has to make sense. I mean, when I dress up, I want to look glamorous instead of casual chic, thus here the hat and the fur would do the trick, right? My ODJ James perse tank, Madewell denim shirt, Peter Som Mongolia fur, Helmut lang suede zip pants, Minnetonka fringe boots, Alaia red laser-cut tote, GAP 06' vintage find in Rome  Now my youngest girl, Ilona, wants her own pair of Minnetonka fringe boots like us but she specifically requests that she wants exactly the same brown as mine instead the PINK as her sister!! ^O^ But i have to confess, it is a bit warm with that fur so I had to take it off in the afternoon after some steam going on around my neck...lol.... I found Oscar de la Renta earrings at their website. I was so anxious to see it in person that I decided to pay overnight shipping. I am quite satisfied w/ its' statement look which not only it is exactly as what I had expected and even better, it also matches my J Crew-find green glass cuff perfectly!!  My friend, Isabel , laughed when she heard that I want to match Oscar de la Renta w/ my J Crew bangle. Well, yeah, but why not, we always mix high and low.... stuff like that as long as the results are looking fabulous!  Again, ouch*~ it is not very cheap. Some people might feel it is intimating to try on Mid-calf boots as it might shorten the legs. Fear not!! Because you might already owned a pair or two of UGG, or Minnetonka boots. Aren't they the most adorable, fashionable shoes that you just want to hug them on bed?! No, I am just kidding!! I have a pair of Minnetonka fringe boots which definitely meets my standard of being fun and fashionable criteria every time I wear them. As you see that I take a step further to try on those more mid-calf hugging boots from Rochas ! I have booties, over-the-knee high, short or tall boots .. .. all sorts and I am adding their cousin- mid-calf boots into the big family. :)  So far, I am very satisfied w/ the easiness and comfort when walking in them. Ah, I must walk too much when I were in Italy that suddenly I felt like wearing FLATs which my friend, Yu, thinks that is total unusual in my case!! ^^ This year, we want to do a family photo shoot and I am searching high and low for dresses ...

Everyone has his/her expectation toward certain things throughout the life...  may it be the self-image of body figure, the career, the salary,.. the friendship, parents to their kids, kids to their parents, the husband to wife, or vice versa, and we are by no means following the expectation to certain point. The past weekend, Ilona is still under the reluctant mode of going to school.  She told me every night that she'd cry the whole day at school.  At the end, I have to threaten her that if she doesn't go to bed right now or go to school tomorrow she won't receive any Christmas gift from Santa. :P I don't know how much bargaining chips I need just for raising one kid.  Ilona is very deft about this that she'd say she doesn't want/like any toy/candy from Santa anymore. In this case, I'd lose ..... but again, I am glad that "authority" is what's left.  Ilona still goes to school crying for a while but at least these past two days, she start...
