Napa Wine Tasting at Castello Di Amorosa.

Driving to Napa is the easiest thing if you wish to get out of your daily routine and enjoy a one day getaway. I have yet been to Castello de Amorosa in Napa, so I thought it might be worth the trip. And, I was RIGHT!!!! A whole case of varies wines went home with me last week.  Cheers! Marseille, France, here I come!!

We are flying with BA to Marseille this afternoon around 5 PM. I did a Power Yoga this morning, packed and had my jet-setting outfit ready. I finally feel that I can take a break after a crazy filming at Sonoma County last week. I posted behind-the-scene pictures on my FB but if you want to grasp a little idea what we were filming about, you can check out "Complex" on FB . (hyperlink) And if you do, please show a little love and "Like" our page. Thank you.  I guarantee you will be wondering what am I doing with a purple wig in a military suit. Ha~~  As far as my jet-setting outfit is concerned, I think it is perfect.  Comfortable, soft, and wrinkle-proof. Ah, not that it won't wrinkle, it is just I wouldn't care if it wrinkled. Don't you think light scarf, a fedora and my one-of-a-kind Converse sneakers are uber chic already?!!!  Last but not least, I promise that I will update my blog more often while I am in France so stay tuned!! Ciao~ ...

Green for Valentine!!

It is almost Valentine and I found myself a perfect Valentine gift. ( I know, it sounds lame but..... it is the prefect timing for buying a new bag.) It is perfect in a sense that we are going to visit Marseille, Paris...etc in France soon and I always carry messenger bag while I travel without exception. Another perfect note is this Hermes jypsiere bag is somewhat troublesome to get in and out with that big flap and straps so I am sure the pickpocket won't spot on me. (knocking on the wood right now...)  Hopefully the weather is warmer in France by then. I think this Menthe/Mint color on this Hermes Jypsiere is the 3rd perfect note for the upcoming spring time, as cheerful as spring's blossom!!! France, here I come!!!!! I really enjoy the compartments inside this bag! Hermes Jypsiere 34 CM in Menthe/Gris Tortoise 2 tones Karl plush sweater w/ cut-out in the back, Massimo Dutti white shirt with contrast trim/bow, Adriano Goldschmied skinny jeans, Charlo...

New York, here I come~~

It's all happening tonight. My friend, Alice, and I will be taking Red eye flight to New York city. I am overjoyed as it has been over 10 years since the last time I visited there. Well, that was long time ago when I was still a flight attendant for China Airline. Anyway... I probably should get back to my packing and polish myself for the last min. jet setting look. I probably should wear leggings or jeans on plane but I love skirts... so I am up for a skirt and stocking look tonight. ( You know, stocking/tights can help me ease the uncomfortableness from swelling. ) And~~ I will see you in New York then.  Later~ ( Pack the Marni coat just in case it gets chill during the night in New York.)   A.  Wang tank, Enza Costa burgundy drapy skirt, Falke stockings, Jeffery Campbell studded boots, Prada clutch, stripped cardigan, floral scarf,  Servane Gaxotte rabbit necklace   Wear your scarf for an extra chic look! xoxo Rachel

Life Style: Brown rice bread bakery in Taipei.

Ever since I started Dr. Frank Lipman's detox diet, I finally realized my stomach is sensitive to "WHEAT". After I finished two weeks of detox drinks by Dr. Frank Lipman, I also learned that there are lots of food that I think they are healthy but they actually are not.  And that's the reason of no matter how much or how little I ate, my stomach hurts and I feel bloating after meals.  Now Dr. Frank Lipman's eating choices becomes my guideline thus, mostly Gluten free diet.  I promote healthy eating and healthy life style to all my friends and I know some of them benefit from the same good result as me.  Still, there are other friends of mine joked that they think I am going to be starved in Taipei cause' it seems almost impossible to stick with a diet of no wheat, no egg, no milk diet. Obviously, they are so wrong. In fact, Asian diet is considered to be low fat, and low cholesterol thus healthier.  I even found a tasty brown-rice bread bakery in Taipei. Wo...

Rome~~ Part I!

Day 1 in Rome (Arrived around 5:30 PM local time that we only do a nice dinner to call it a day!) "PAPBACCUS" Restaurant 36, Via Tosecana (Very close to Westin Excelsior Hotel) I never had such tasty Balsamic Vinegar which is so dense, tannic sweet, and full of aroma. Also, the black pepper is really "spicy" that DH and I never thought black pepper would be spicy AT ALL considering that both of us are such strong taste in chilly sauce. The chef said that they bought that balsamic Vinegar at Tuscany which means I can't find it anywhere else here in Rome.... bummer~..... Onion soup in Rome style w/ tomatoes! I think this is some kind of couscous (yellow thing) w/ mashed olive, liver, pesto and some white raw fish fillet which is some kind of a fish like seabass (but it is not). Creamy ice cream w/ wild strawberry..... so sweet and tiny of those wild strawberries.  Guess we are too hungry when the main courses ...

Travel Log at Lembang and Bandung in West Java!! (Day 1)

24/6/2010 We are heading to Bandung in West Java w/ hubby's whole family for a family vacation, including both our parents, big brother, second brother, third brother and their own family! Yes, it is kinda of a tradition of hubby's family that they welcome their family w/ their whole heart. I went for a swim before heading off.  Now I can't imagine how much weight I have gained for eating all the tasty food after this trip. ^^ Luckily, we are heading back USA on 6/30 and the first thing is to work on the ideal 6 pack of abs back on me!!! ^O^ The air pollution and traffic is horrible in Jakarta .....which means the traffic in LA. is not so bad after all!! lol Do you see "the bed" underneath the big truck?......That's NEW for me!! ^O^ I am sure the grayish sky is not fog above Jakarta but @#$%$#*&^.... and we are over the mountain for some fresh air.  After unpacking, we go to our first stop and the first activities....SHOPPING!
