In Good Health - Body Detox.

Sorry I have been missing for couple days. Now I am back and I am doing greater than ever. Oh, not how much I spent in that sense...I mean, I just done my 14 days body-detox from Dr. Frank Lipman's method last Sunday. I am feeling invigorated and I am trying to live a whole new life style by eating healthier. That means no-gluten and no-wheat, less caffeine, no refined sugar, no refined flour diet. {Honestly, I am not sure how strict I can be but I am smarter now when it comes to select good-food-which-nourishs-my-body.}

I didn't lose weight but my whole body has that slimmer look!! Here is the proof of Dr. Frank Lipman's eating suggestion works wonder on me. I highly recommend you check out his website (here), Grocery store tour video (here) and the detox helper-shakes (here).

Thanks for posting the allowed/not allowed list. Very helpful to see it. Not sure how you do it, but it seem hard not to use any soy sauce in my cooking. :P How did you cook the meat dish on the bottom right?

Looks like you are getting the entire family healthy. Great job!

Wow! You look great! There are some things from the do column that I already do, but it would be soso hard to give up cheese!!
Great job! You've set the bar on what I strive to look like when I have kids!

Rachel, thanks for posting the list, that is very helpful!

You look fantastic! Although I think you did not need detox at all, I am glad it has made you feel better!

I have been on a self-imposed detox regimen myself for a week now. I am seeing the difference in the way I feel already. So I can totally relate!

Btw, we are travelling to Madrid this week. If you guys have been there already, do you have any tips and recommendations for the city?

THanks, Betsy and Wei.
Yes, I guess if you really know the list, it is easier to pick food while you do the grocery shopping. ^O^

To our good health,

Hi Mona, we didn't visit Madrid last year while we are in Spain. I guess we realized that it took another 4 or 5 hours drive from Barcelona which is way toooooo long. Besides, it is probably much colder than Barcelona by the time we were there in Nov. I am sure you guys will be just fine and remember to eat plenty of food there and shop all the good leather stuff you can find. THEY ARE THE TRUELY the origin of manufacturing buttery soft leather stuff. ^O^
How long do you guys stay?

Oh, last note, what kind of your detox regime is? Anything specific you have to follow?

Good day,
xo Rachel

Always Posh in my Own Styles.

I had a busy week, plus the last bits of planning for NYC trip.  Dinner and brunch reservations, and we even bought Hamilton musical tickets. Since we are visiting NYC during Memorial weekend, hope we can find some good bargain shopping in The Big Apple too. One thing I am sure with this girls' trip is we are going to have tons of fun before one of my gf goes to law school this fall. It is a clean slate for her and I am sure it will also be a magnificent journey down the road.
Back to my all time passion: Fashion. I like fine garments and I collect them to do mix and match over past seasons. However, what makes my style unique is intricate cuttings and perfect fitting that flatter my body. I don't follow trends just to claim I am fashion forward. I have my own methods of sorting through marketing injected advertisements for the best seasonal looks. Popularity isn't gained from what brands you wear but what styles you choose to wear. I wear street fashion in discretion just…

Wedge + Clog ! MINE is Clog + Heel!

pic. courtesy from WhoWhatWhere website.

I came across this Max Mara clog heels. I can't help myself buying it.

Now I am very excited.....why? Cause' it is extraordinary. I love the golden studded along the leather and since I don't like wedge too much, this stiletto is perfect for me.

So, did you see the bottom picture to the right? Kate Olsen!!? or Dree Hemingway's looks might work w/ Max Mara clog heels. ( Whose pic. is the very first one w/ fuchsia vest) Normally I am not a copy cat, but this time, I will see if I have something similar like what she wears w/. Yes, that will be a good start to tackle this pair of heels.

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
