My Fall Shopping just Started...

Autumn is my favorite season among all 4. My friend, Isabel, told me that's because I was born during this season.  Hum.... It makes perfect sense to me as I am so fond of Autumn and Winter.  Besides, I love keeping my body temperature very low as it will tighten my pores and skin which might help to delay the aging process. {Ah, I know, this is just my non-sense theory.}
Anyhow, which season were you born, were you born in fall and do you like autumn as I do?!

Both left and right are YSL A/W 11'

I like both Moss Green and Gray colors and especially the sling-back platform heels with "fringe looks alike mustache" oh, no, "Mustache looks alike fringe" !!! But neither of them really won my heart.
The center picture is STRATEGIA boots.

 This has separated toe and lace up details as well as combined look of both leather and suede in one.
This is a classic pair of boots with a little bit of fun.{What? On sale?.... SOLD!}

RLX Marino Wool + Cashmere pants in sand/beige and light sage.
{Sand/beige one, $395, SOLD!}

YSL tribute nude suede pump
{Now should I hunt for this color which would perfectly dress up that almost same color wool pants for a matchy-matchy look? ....Pondering.....depending...}

H & M Wool beige/sand/nude shorts with scallop hem
H & M brown platform pump
{$49.95 each, both SOLD!}

Prada Limited Edition s/s 2011 tortoise sunglasses
{$290, SOLD!"}

My Outfit Du Jour

Anthropologie t-back lace camisole, Suzuki Takayuki organic harem pants, Limedrop cloud cardigan, Prada gold sandals, Alaia laser-cut tote 11', Elisabeth Cole necklace, J Crew earrings, BCBG Max Azura necklace (improvised as bracelet!)

It was original a necklace but now it is a paved crystal fringe bracelet with ring wrap.

I love the silkiness and soft clingy touch of both silk and satin, and wearing them makes me feel like I am still lying on my bed.

Did you start your fall shopping list yet?
Make a wish-list then.

xoxo Rachel

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
     I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
