Strawberry Loves to Dance....

It has been quite a while since the last time I put together an ensemble with lots of Chanel custom jewelry...well, you know what, today, I had a strong inspiration from browsing through Marni's last season look and I had to give it a try! ^O^ Marni 2010 PF (style.com) My ODJ 1. A cropped jacket is always in trend. Today is DAY 1 that I can't wear contact lens doing my chores. Not too bad except I hate the heavy eye glasses frame hanging on my nose..... which leave my nose two red inks. ><  Thanks to Cathy that she came along to take photos for me when I am clumpy and silly w/ my glasses on. Mcginn (past season) cropped tuxedo jacket w/ vest insert.  Couple details keep your look fresh and in trend even when you are wearing past season clothes!  Wherever I go w/ this Proenza Shouler cap toe platform heels, there is always complimets goes on the shoes.  I can't focus on the camera w/o wearing my contact lens...... but I guess the camera focuses on me just fine!! Today is the day that Ilona goes to pre-K... FULL DAY from 9 to 6 PM. She stays at school mostly from 9 to 3:30 except for Monday and Wednesday. I know, you probably think I am so cruel to her......  However, if you listen to what she talked about school stuff endlessly, I know that only denotes SHE IS SO READY FOR School ! ^^ Ilona looked very "sleepy" there~  How cute she sits on her luggage for her "bedding" and that lunch box placed right next to her seems so gigantic!! Lol I did a lot of house chores in the morning, except for cleaning the stove top, I also went two grocery stores to shop.....then I came home to do the preparation for rest of the week prior cooking such as cutting/dividing the beef into small containers, use "Cuisinart food processor" shredding carrots, asparagus, and wash string beans and cabbage and store them in the ziplock bags ... for ready-to-use. "Gift" - a thing given willingly to someone without payment!! Definition taken from dictionary.com . For me, being gifted is more of a caring/loving feeling showed from a friend. I love receiving gifts and I love to hear my friends say that they give/gift to me because they think I might like it!! How sweet!! No matter how much the value is, I love the sentimental feeling of being understood, and being loved!! I would say I am not a minimalist of getting dressed, but I am definitely easy understood in personality......straightforward!!!  Today, Cathy gave me one of her "un-loved" tights which she claims is way too long for her!!  Me?   Happily accept the tights n' I must say I do love it for its rich brown and purple tones!! I was talking on the phone w/ my dear friend, Isabel , the other day. She told me that I am the only person she knows that have the " highest tolerant threshold " among her friends.  What does she mean by that? 1. I have 3 young children and never had ONE single nanny's help. (Thanks to my DH and my training skill for men for sharing house chores. hah........) 2. She thinks I never get tired of dressing myself up cause' having 3 kids seems doesn't bother me at all.  3. I mix-n'-match clothes the best........ what she really means is when I get bored w/ summer clothes, I start wearing fall or winter clothes and vice versa.  And it seems I withstand any circumstance of weather condition. ^O^ ha ... ha.... ha.... It has been a while since the last time DH and I went out for a DATE!! Well, I guess a real DATE is just too luxury for us having 3 young children and it always needs a special arrangement for it to happen. Ilona won't go to preschool until this fall so hopefully by then, DH and I will have more romantic date-out alone!!! DH's Porsche is manual and I have no problem of driving it too. Thanks to my driving coach back in Taiwan so I can drive both manual and auto-shift cars!! :) I am not so into cars personally!...... OUCH!!!! Nah ~,   you probably think that would be pain in the a** when go shopping w/ 3 young kids and wearing HIGH HEELS like MY Proenza Schouler pump!! In fact, for me, it is a very special bounding time w/ my kids during holidays!!  I like to brain-wash them by telling that they need to be extremely behaved when they are only w/ me, o.w. MOI would be exhausted and couldn't be able to cook for dad for dinner!!!! I told them that they don't want to see Dad gets really starving and be mad at us!! :P Most of the time my kids would understand and really follow my rules! :) Besides, these days, I can always use Santa to watch my back. hahahah..... It has been extremely cold these days, and I had wore the warmest coat already.  Other than the fur vest which is not the warmest piece since it is the VEST , my Marc Jacob alpaca wool boat-neck coat in beige and Chanel 08 f/w tweed jacket in red/gray are the coziest outwear in my closet!!  This season I bought the quirkiest look of heels/boots from Givenchy, YSL and Proenza Schouler, so far, I think I work them well w/ my old wardrobe. :)  Let's see then!
