Winter White Glamor AND The Prettiest Christmas Tree ... w/ Christmas Gifts!!!

The YEAR OF 2009 is almost GONE!!

I always wear WHITE during winter season and just in time I had an inspiration from Chanel 09' look.

Skip the poncho, otherwise you will be a COPY CAT!! JK! :P

The key is to have a white sweater/sweater dress, a pair of WHITE hosiery and leg warmers which I got them couple seasons back and never thought of pairing them together until today!

I like to wear things my unique way...... Oh, yes, my personal style!!! ^O^

My ODJ!

 1. Top:
  • Earl Jean chain-link shirt
  • MNG white crew neck sweater
2. Bottom:  Orange Boss mini white jean skirt

 3. Accessory:
  •  Erickson Beamon for Target necklace n' earrings
  • BR distressed silver studs belt
  • White patterned hosiery (bought at Anthro. last season)
  • Beige color leg warmer (bought couple years ago)
  • Chanel 09' distressed white reissue 227
4. Shoes: Orange Boss two-toned mary-jane heels

I am so glad that I thought of this Erickson Beamon for Target necklace n' earrings this morning, and those clear/crystal accessories are a big thing for 2010 s/s runway as well.

All the pieces I kept for years and they are my classic in my wardrobe!!

Cathy and I went to Y-3 and I bought some pieces for DH as Christmas gift. They are having 30% off sale.

Cathy bought their signature RED sneakers, while I also got a white shirt for $54 (classic look forever) and a very cool legging w/ 3 Adidas signature strips at back of the calves!!!!! lol

We all love what Cathy did for her hair....braids!! :)

After our kids messed around at Y-3 store, we were off to Anthropologies!! Oh, the SA in Y-3 are very nice and they didn't give us white eye balls for our kids messing around ... hha.....

r - for me, Rachel ; s - for DH, Santo!!
But I didn't buy them...hahahaha.....  (30% off for $6 each, I bought for my friend instead.)

I prepared a little gift bag for my friend, Ann, who gave birth to her 2nd daughter one month ago and had her birthday couple days ago!! :) M is for her DH!!

Cathy and I were playing w/ those cute hair pins.... i love them but never really wear them!!
I put them all back to shelf after done playing! :P

For our age, enough is enough!!  Isn't Blair who eventually takes off her hair-band in the show to show that she is grown-up!!! :) Enjoy them while you can!!

Next.....then I saw this cropped cardigan and I can't get my hands off her. I love the color, the tartan style, and the intriguing embroidery.

This is such a cute cardigan and if you keep it well, it will be a classic piece in your wardrobe!!

I am thinking of giving this cardigan to Ann for her birthday gift.....oh, should I...cause' I like it so much myself too!!!! Oh...... would you want something like this for your birthday??!!!:)

The embroidery is so dedicate.  This cardigan would not need to do style at all, it yells out style for everyone who simply wears it!!!

Then we went back to our home.....kids still need their nap and I get to have time to blog about EVERYTHING!! :P I start wrapping gifts for DH, DD, DS and for friends as well. I suddenly realized that our Christmas tree need "PRESENTS" underneath, otherwise, it wouldn't be a Christmas Tree at all!!

I like the bird on the tree ornaments which would give the tree a little look of being alive!!

The star beings to tarnish but I think it gives a nostalgic whimsical look to the tree!

A Reindeer in the blow-glass!

I have couple more angels on our Christmas tree as well.

Just a thought, I read about "YES or NO on recycling gifts" on Simple magazine this month,  I must agree that I DON'T like receiving nor giving recycled gifts at all.
Well, one exception, if you think I can't tell it is gifted by someone else to you, or you tell me frankly that it is something that I might LIKE even it is gifted by someone else!!!!

Come on, people can tell if it is a gift from your heart or not!!!............... :)

It seems there is not enough Christmas gifts yet.......oh, MINE is all missing!! ho ho ho........ :P

Oh, gotta go wrap some more gifts for our gift exchange party!! :)

The letters, hair pieces and cardi are all so cute!!!
Cute cardi of course!

Xoxo
Hey, miss panda: how is the Christmas mood in Australia? I probably think it is so wired to have a warm Christmas instead of a white Christmas...hah..
Thank you, dear, for such a compliments. You know, this is such a month we get to shop "gifts", "little baubles" all month long w/o guilt!!! :)
Thank you, Janet. Your pictures in the blog are all so glamorous!! :) Oh, I forgot to congrats on your new Chloe BAY bag!! It is trec' chic!!
Ah your tree is gorgeous!! It looks really big too! LOVE the cardigan you bought, what a great find! And your all white outfit looks very winter-ish indeed, well done! :)

Oh what a very nice look! I think I may have to try some leg warmers and I like how it looks with the white matte reissue. I was starting to miss seeing her with your outfits :) By the way your hair looks so pretty and flirty that way with some waves. Very nice!
Also you do need more and more gifts under your tree ;) so you better go out and shop some more! hehe

i just love your winter white outfit. i used to avoid white in the winter but now i think it's very chic.
Hi R! I love white in winters too! You look good in white. With your retro ala 60s hair do..nice nice! Oh, how long did Kathy do her braids? It looks so complicated but very very nice on her. Love that hairdo! I'm thinking of how to do my hair in Wai's wedding. Maybe braids like this will do. So excited to go to Burma next month! :D

Yes, as Julia said, last week for Xmas shopping. Go go go too!!

Have a great week ahead!

Cheers,
Mia
Oh sorry R, I mis-spelled Cathy's name above. Should be "C" for Cathy. Sorry about that.

Speaking of names, your DH name is Santo? Hehehehehe....Santo means "saint" in spanish.....do you feel like he's a saint in your life? Heheheheh...nice name!

Haha...I notice such little things..sorry. It's my habit! :P

P.S. BTW, I received my Givenchy booties this morning!! We are officially twins! Love them and they are so incredibly comfy! I got size 40.5 and they fit perfect for me. I guess I'm 1.5 size larger than you for shoes! How can that be? I'm only 161cm!! Eeek!

Cheers,
Mia
Hi, the thanks-giving girl:
So how did you write notes WHEN DOING YOUR SHOWER>>>>>>???? GIRL? I thought it is not water-proof!!!??
Well, maybe you got some awesome skills...haha....

Ah, thanks for the sweet words for our tree and my outfit and for my friend, Cathy. I will let her know you like her braids! :) I wish I will have time to do that .. but I guess I'd spend time on "dressing up" instead!!
Susan:
oh, by the way, Cathy is going to SD during Christmas, I am asking you for her that where can they have decent asia food? WOuld you please email me cause' here might be TOO MUCH to write in such a small column. Thanks in advance.

You know what, when girls wear white properly, people love it more than any outfit! It is less intimidating, softer character, more friendly ...... well, that's what I think. :)
Hey, Julia:
yes, I have couple more things coming... just simple leggings, wool vest those Essentials!!! I am not going to get anything luxury, such as more shoes, nor bags. See, this year, I bought one Hermes Birkin and one A. Wang, except for lots of shoes/clothes. :P I am doing wardrobe cleaning at the end of this year and I always keep my closet fairly the same size every year..... new things IN, old things OUT!! I am pretty good at throwing away things and alternating my clothes too. Every girl should do that...girl, you need to clean your closet too!! he he he....
Thanks, Savvy girl. Now I think I did PRETTY GREAT on that winter white outfit. :) You made my day!!

Oh, I do hope you get to decide your fav. table lamp!! :)
Hi, Mia: first of all, yes, you are right about DH's name. It means the same thing in Indonesia where he was born. He still has his Chinese name but just they changed it all!!

yes, I can't believe your feet is 1 1/2 size bigger than mine..how could it possible. I mean...girl, someday I must see your feet IN PERSON. hahahahah.. oh, it is just hard to imagine considering you are 161cm.

I am glad you got your Givenchy booties..but girl, I thought you got them way back ...? since I saw you do the modeling shoots of it? Hum? AM I having Hallucination? Anyway, it is a very classic looking of boots too, that's the reason i didn't buy A. Wang combat boots. I have similar shoes w/ lace ups style and for the chic, cool, whatever you call that A. wang shoes, I can skip it all over!!

It is great that you will attend Wai's wedding. She will be the most prettiest bride then. oh, your hair, i am sure you can find a wonderful hair stylist in Hong Kong..... right? come one, it is HONG KONG we are talking about!!! :)
Hi R!! Haha....yes you're hallucinating dear! I think what you see me modeling is my Guiseppe Zanotti booties w/ zipper details which I bought from Paris. LOL!

No problem, I'll show you my feet when I get the chance to meet with you. I'm also very very curious why I have such big feet but it doesn't look big when people see me? Strange!!!

It's a wise decision not to buy the A Wang booties as you've got so many more wonderful booties already and more classic than A Wang's one. :D

Oh hairstylist? Yes we have lots in Hong Kong but then I can't bring them over to Burma with me!! LOL! I have to do the hair myself which I'm not good at! Maybe my DH should learn to comb my hair LOL!

BTW, I posted a question on my blog about Hermes shawl. You can vote too on which colorway. I am so excited already! Hehehhehe!

Cheers,
Mia
Lol at spending time dressign up instead... maybe you could multitask and text her with your iPhoen while dressing up? That's how it works in the shower lol :) But I dunno... It's just that when I suddenly have sme idea I would reach for the phone and write it down and then back to showering... But I always put a towel or a piece of clothing over my phone when I'm in the shower - just so it that the water doesn't get to it, and I make sure it's far from the water source lol

Make a Wish w/ Russia Babushka doll!!

My friend, Michelle asked me about my opinion of Chanel Babushka doll's necklace once and I said "Not worth getting it"!! Now I am not so sure if I would say the same thing to this adorable babushka doll clutch!! lol However, even I want to find it, this doll clutch is probably long gone by now!! I have a real Russia Babushka doll made in Russia which is a gift from 10 years ago! I couldn't find the same one in USA since this set of 15 nesting dolls are truly intricate!! This is the biggest one which has the most exquisite engraving. Total 15 of them! (2 are missing from the pic.) I heard that you can make a wish w/ these nesting dolls. If your wish comes true, you can open one until all 15 are all open!! I never made any wish w/ them, guess I was too realistic of a person myself. I don't know if each engraved temple/castle on the dolls represents something. You can't open the smallest one which is only the size of the little finger nail. I adore those golde

Birthday Gift from My Dearest Darling!! Oh, Hermes!!

Oh, Hermes!! Oh, my love!! I mean both my DH and Hermes!! :P My SA insists me saying nothing about this beauty on the website. And I promised her!! The truth is the picture is worth more than a thousand words, let me share my ultimate excitement silently!! A little extra business for my SA goes a long way for our relationship!! Hermes white leather on golden studded cuff can go w/ my Chanel matte white reissue 227 That's my 09 multicolored hot air balloon print Hermes scarf The cuff can also go w/ my 35cm Gris Tourterelle Hermes Togo Birkin !!! I almost faint when I received it!! I believe every rookie of Hermes feels the same as I do!! hahah.... I think I catch the color very true! (even it is indoor at my house at night as you can tell) Ta da~! My newest addition to my little luxury collection!! Again, 35cm Gris Tourterelle Hermes Togo Birkin !
