Grin, Green, Grain!!

So I love green color, all kinds of its various shades.
Yesterday, Pei, Cathy n' Ann were having a great time together n' catching up w/ each other. We are the bunch of friends who knows each other's luxury addiction.....and we are completely fine w/ that!!!  As some of my friends told me that they normally dress DOWN in front of their other gal friends.  @@

I always say, everyone does whatever make themselves n' people around them comfortable!! Would it be the way they talk to each other, the outfits they presented in front of non-fashionable gals, the humble attitude they deal w/ each other, something they hide from each other to save their ego.....etc..... this makes the world more harmony I assume!!! ^O^

  • Linda Loudermilk bamboo asymmetrical blazer
  • Max Mara neon green tank w/ twist at back
  • Stella Luna patent black gladiator heels
  • Chanel 09' beige medium/large classic
No matter how hard it is to put on or take off our heels, it is a courtesy to "remove thy shoes" before entering a friend's house if that's their house rule!!! :)

Pei's cute n' cozy slippers from J Crew!
We love that grain/wheat color n' adorable bows!

  • HM abstract floral/camouflage draped skirt
  • American Apparel green w/ silver zig-zag tights
All the twisted/drapes details keep my back view interesting!!

I found this Vintage hat for $18.
We all love the half bow n' little crystals (the veiling is all torn out n' I had to find a way to restore it).

I think I worked out too hard these two thighs are sore, shoulders are aching.....but I love the feeling of being toned!!! :)

Have a busy n' fun day!! xoxo Rachel

Love those green tights you have going on! I wouldn't be able to pull them off, but I like them on you :) And I really like the slippers you wore at your friend's house!

I love the feeling of being sore after a good work out too, makes me feel like it was a worthy one! lol

I love your draped skirt! The cut is so interesting and the pattern is so pretty! It's the perfect combination of femininity and style!
On a side note, I have to take off my shoes at home too (my mom's house rule).

Hi Rachel! I totally agree with what you said!

It's hard to find friends who knows and understands each otehr's luxury addiction.

I wish I didn't have to but I do have to not use some of my luxury items when meeting my in-laws or with my parents and some friends.

Firstly, they will not understand my love for luxury items and eventhough they are not funding my items, they will chide me for spending so much.

Secondly, there are some people that I do not wish to give a wrong impression that I am flaunting my nice things.

The fact is I wear or carry thigns that make myself happy, not for others. But it is a fact that we have to make others around us comfortable and to create harmony.

It will be nice I can be myself all the time (*^_^*)

That said, I can't wait to see what you have hauled from Sonia Rykiel! I actually saw your friend Yu at H&M on Sat :D

Hahaha...R, nice hat! Ehmm..don't shoot me, but it reminds me of "flight attendants" from the 60s or sth.....LOL! Don't get me wrong, looks good on you. I saw that H&M dress before too...and I actually thought of you...coz I have a strong feeling you will be in some sort of floral ensemble this season as it's so popular in SS2010. :P

Anyway, nice ensemble again. know how I love to indulge myself with luxury goods. Yesterday I was talking to Kai about luxury life and people around you who don't have the luxury to buy things like we do. Well, yes, around these people, esp. friends, we will dress down and be part of the group. It's the respect you show for them, and you don't want to be like a "show-off" and offend these people. Not all friends are into luxury so we have to respect their choice.

In fact, believe it or not, I tried to live without luxuries for 1 year when I was staying at Switzerland. It's perfectly fine!! Luxury/brands is just part of this materialistic world, we can't bring them to our graves when we die. LOL! So, if you ask me to give up all my luxury items for a good cause, I think I will be just fine with it. Hahahhaa!

OK..I'm thinking too deep, back to fashion!! LOL!

ha, Mia: you are not the only one comments that vintage hat makes me look like a stewardess in 60s/ha ha.... in fact, it is really cute that remind all of us that era, elegant and slim and pretty women.

I probably will have to find a time to go throu. your blog over the week but we are also booked w/ activities w/ friends over the whole weekend. Girls' night out tomorrow evening, kids party before that and Sunday is for kids'
Disney on ICE".

But I promise I will check it out. And hope you saw the size/color of the Lindy which Yu carries from previous post.
