Bunch of Stuff~~ LBD, and a CopyCat!!

Last Friday, I was going through my daughters' picture and amazed how resemble two sisters can be at certain age.  In retrospect, I forgot how does Abby look when she is at 2-year-old and those family pictures always reminds me to revel in the luxury of being w/ them as long as I can. :)

Then, Ilona 7 months old.

Now, Ilona 2 1/2 years old.

Then, Abby 2 years old!!

............. Last Friday!! 4/23/2010

I LOVE those Missoni espadrilles, I was actually at a store looking at them over the weekend. They're such a nice warm colour that is super nice for the summer.
Also, your daughters, Ilona and Abby do look a lot alike! I wonder if they'll grow up looking alike too!

hi, ls:

really? Which store you saw them? I found another color combi. on line of this espadrilles too.....even warmer colors than mine. SO I am not sure if they do come in two different colors shades? mine is very pale IRL. They are my first pair ... I had another pair bought from a Vintage shop for $30! ^O^

No, Ilona and Abby will not be this much alike since they already look so different now!! :)

I saw them at Holt Renfrew (Canadian version of Saks) and also at Davids, and the ones that i saw were a warm yellow/orange/brown combination.

Oh your little girls are such sweethearts! And I really like the espadrilles. I too have too many LBD's, I don't know but when it comes to going out dresses I gravitate towards black.
LBDs are indeed handy, I especially love the one in your last picture - so classy! And I agree, it's so funny how your daughters look totally identical in these pics, wow! :)

Wow, you're right that Ilona and Abby looks identical in their baby photos! Funny how kids change so much as they grow older. Do you think it's more 先天 or 後天 that they change like that... Do they have similar personalities?

Anyway, I went to Ted Baker yesterday to check out that stripped dress but they ran out of my size. Plus, I think the strong shoulders will make me look too 壯 so the search continues. LOL.

I have tons of LBD but I've been weeding them down to a few classic and timeless ones. Sometimes it's so hard to decide b/c each has a sentimental value. So how do you clean your closet every season?

ha, MadsAboutYou, I guess black anything goes very well w/ a lot of outfit and it is the easiest way to "highlight" a person's style too!! Whenever I saw a picture of some great tends to be "black" something in that outfit..hum... interesting!!

Wow, Catherine: you should show us your HL dress when you wear it...on FB. :) It never occurs to me that I should get a HL dress ... but their dresses are the best body hugging and shape sculpturing if you want to look sexy!! :) eh!?
litlstrawberry said…
yes, Ls, I think this Mission espadrilles comes in two different tones then!!! Thanks.

Betsy, did you try that dress at all??? Cause' you know, what I know and aware is if you don't have a "straight" shoulder, it is best to avoid a shoulder detail like that OR a "shoulder patch" will do the trick. So maybe your worrying too much about your shoulder being too wide/strong, I remember it has that knot details but not a patch underneath....or even it does, take them off and try size up or down and see if it works.

I am really curious if you did try it on or not!!!! ^O^

hah..Julia: yes, they are sisters and almost like twins when they are at age of 2. :) They don't look alike now however!!

How is your contest going...i read how does they count the points and leave a comment after adding you as friends. I hope you do win!!! :)

sexy shoes! I love espadrilles. And nice to see that the Chanel tattoo does last a while huh?
your daughters are soooo cute. It's incredible how fast kids grow. That's why I try to cherish all these moments with my little ones for as long as possible.
You don't think your daughters will keep changing? Maybe when they are adults they will look alike again?

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
