Never The Same Outfit!!!

Today I had another idea of putting my outfit together.  Then I decided to leave that fur vest, leather blazer, Birkin.... to tomorrow if the weather is going to be THAT COLD again!!

Let's browse some magazine together, shall we!!! ^O^

Chanel 2010.
I know, my outfit is no comparison to Chanel's.
But just found this picture to show you where my inspiration comes from!! :P

Not your daughter's Marine Style!!...... Nay, it is not the brand name, I just like the one-of-a-kind style which is apart from everyone else'!!

Still classic look.
This is Naomi for Escada magazine 1998 or 2001 (can't remember).

Love that slim look of thousand-layered-cake-skirt. :)

Nostalgic.. something I'd wear myself.

Some heels, some veiling hat and some hair band which I don't see it on me at all... ^O^

Some art..... collage "Red Lobster"!!

Some ME!! ^P^

I had a hard time deciding which hat goes better w/ my outfit. Black or White?

Green tube top, gray cashmere, H&M dividend lace jacket, For Joseph leather vest, Alexander Wang drape pencil skirt, Daddy Long Legs lace degraded leggings, Matino gray heels, brass mini disc necklace, navy stone cocktail ring and BV 06 bag.

DH vote for white beret hat!! What do you think?

Don't forget to relax your stiff shoulders and move your sore eyes.... for sitting in front of computer too long!!!

Have a good night sleep and morning exercise!!!
xoxo Rachel

I love the nautical theme that is trendy now. I thought your striped shirt with tutu and red jacket from few weeks back was super cute. These recent inspiration pics are giving me more ideas. Thx for sharing!

Yes, Betsy, you can dress tons of different styles w/ striped shirt/skirt if you play w/ it. I found that tutu skirt is really big this year... for ADULT!! :) Must catching this trend before we get too old for that..haha... well, I think "mesh" dress/skirt is a good alternative when we are OLD... :P
I do hope you had fun being "nautical".

i love your clogs in the first outfit! You channel the Chanel look very well in the first outfit!
As for your second outfit, I personally prefer the black hat just because of the sleekness of the hat. I also adore the leather vest that you are wearing in the second outfit!

hey, Mona: Welcome where did you go for your vacation? WE are leaving for Maui next week for our vacation. :)

We bought the skirt at Barney's co-op in Las Vegas. I think you can try to call the store and see if they will be able to locate one...or even they know what's the number for Barney's warehouse in New York.

Best of luck to you!!

I like it with the white hat better! You always look so cute. :) I love that full striped skirt and the "thousand layered cake" skirt. So pretty!

I think I wanted the booties to be more nude and less mango, but I still like them. I just need some practice. :) And thank you so much for the hair compliment! I really like it and it is SO EASY!

Thanks! I will definitely check out Barneys! Don't know if I'll be able to locate one, but it doesn't hurt to try.

We are back from Disney World, took our daughter there for the very first time. I can't say it was vacation for us, the parents; in fact it was extremely exhausting. But she enjoyed it all the way, so that is what matters.

Btw, I would love to go to Maui one day, heard it was gorgeous there! Have a fantastic time! Looking forward to more of your posts!

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
