Effortless Casual Chic + YSL 09' runway elastic booties!!

vAfter we had dinner w/ friends, I quickly packed some very light clothes and BIG warm coats!! My friends including you fab. girls live in south Cal. keep telling me that it is so warm in LA. And all I need is a pair of SANDALS!!! Absolutely no need to bring boots at all!!! Ok, that just sound very disappointing cause' I am a boots gal in winter......... :(

Anyway, Yu and I scheduled that we should leave home at 6:00 AM to avoid the traffic!! I am waiting for the laundry while blogging at the same time.  I'd like to leave home w/ no left-over in the fridge, no trash, and no dirty laundry cause' when we come back home, I can be relaxed mentally and not being stressed out by thinking of all the un-done house chores!!

This is what I think : ----- Leave Home Happy, and Come Back Home Happy!! ------- :)

Ok, back to today's business!
I found two cardigans in Anthro. last week and they are great candidates for the look we saw in Nordi. However, they only have size L left for Navy, and size S left for Orange!!

This one is size Large and two sleeves are overwhelming on my frame, however, that is just what I want a slightly slouchy look on me!

This is size Small which fits perfectly on me but I bought the large Navy one instead!!

I cinch the cardigan and like the style very much!

Here is the look I copied today!!

This is the final ideal look!!

My ODJ

1. TOP:
  • Splendid shirt w/ one pocket $68
  • Big knitting cardigan (Anthro.) for $89
2. Bottom: TSE high waist tapered wool pants (bought last year)
3. Accessory:
  • white knitting scarf w/ sequins
  • Flying Lizard Design necklace
  • Chanel 08' perforated Rodeo Drive large tote
4. Shoes: YSL 09' runway elastic band booties

I love the striped scarf and it adds fun to my outfit!

I use safety pins to make cuffs on both sleeves: 1. to shorten the sleeves 2. so the too large cardigan would look proportioned on me

Good nite

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hi R! I like your cardigan, and I also think that a slightly slouchy look is nicer than a fitted look for this type of cardigan. Nice price too! I own something like that as well from Kookai and some other brands.....I think I need to dig them out to put up some ensembles! :D Oh that knitted sequined scarf is a nice accessory on your outfit. I bought something similar too from Kookai in Paris but it's in mesh material in black with some navy & brownish beads. Don't you just love little things like that? Just can't get enough...haha!

Oh...I almost forgot to ask you. What size do you wear for your Givenchy wedge booties? I am planning to buy them too during the sale. :D Just want to make sure I order the correct size as we don't have it hear locally.

Anyway, enjoy LA and come back home HAPPY!

Cheers,
Mia

R - Have fun in LA! You are lookin' hot and ready to take the SoCal fashion scene by storm. LOL. The sequin scarf is an unexpected but fun touch to your striped shirt. I still have a difficult time believing those YSL heels are comfortable, but they are very drool worthy regardless.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Yu's family!

Oh, wow! That Chloé look was almost perfect! A brown or gray belt and it would have been complete. Still, it was perfect! I love the contrasts and the fitted pants. You have a marvelous waist to have had children! Great on you!

Hi R, Hope you had fun shopping in L.A. I can't wait to see what you got. I'm in love with your Chloe Wedge Boots. Do you know if stores still carry this boot style? I've been looking but I don't seem to find them. I saw a pair on ebay but not in my size :(

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

This season, there is one more thing in my never-ending clothing wish list: A Cape!!!

4/12 (Sun.) Day 2 in Vegas w/ Girl Friends!

First of all, I have to thank Irene for coordinating every one's schedule to make this dream trip happen.

On Sunday, we planned to treat ourselves to a beauty spa in Mandalay Bay Hotel. Our appointment at The Bathhouse spa is at 1 PM. But since yesterday we stood up so late, we didn't wake up until 11 AM. However, neither Cathy nor I think we actually fell asleep as we were still so exhausted when waked up. And I am the one who slept the least but got up from the bed the first. I went to gamble alone after clubbing till 5 or 6 in the morning. Well, the time in Vegas is too luxury to stay in bed anyway. lol Pei probably slept not bad at all as I can hear she snores persistently throughout the night. haha............

We each had either Swedish or Deep-muscle massage. I recall my last massage is when I traveled back to Taiwan. My Dad took us family to Thailand and he called for two people to our room. In Thailand, most massagers' body frame are small-built but I am surpri…
