Friends' Impact, Fashion Impact or Simply Fashion Addict!! Ha~

You must felt the same thing as i did..... friends tend to have big influence on almost everything. The way you talk to the way you style yourself!

Just when the whole world follows the way that celebrity, or models style, friends follows each other or I should say we follow each other's idols too!! haha....... When last year I heard Yu said that 3.1 Phillip Lim is her favorite, this year, she switches to A. Wang. Sure, there is no surprises for a young, talented 25 years old street chic designer steals most of women's heart in fashion!!!!! ^O^

I guess from time to time, friends have similar taste for some clothes and after doing mix n' match from our own wardrobe, there we have our own distinctive styles. :)

Do you remember these shoulder/collar patches? Yu got them first then I bought it at H&M afterward.

Yu and I, when we were at the Disneyland in LA during Thanksgiving.

Here is my ODJ!

1. Top:
  • RUGBY black turtleneck
  • H&M shoulder patch tee
2. Top n' Bottom:
Juicy Contour one piece two tone dress
3. Accessory:
  • Chanel pearl necklace 09'
  • wide leather belt
  • Juicy contour swirl knee high socks
  • Vera designer vintage hand rolled silk scarf w/ lady bugs
  • A. Wang Coco Duffel bag
4. Shoes: A. McQueen squared toes satin pump
Fry slate boots

I insist to wear my belt sideways and off-center.

I had this Fry boots on at first but DH suggested that I shouldn't cover up that swirl socks!!

There I have my real ODJ!!

The H&M tee is really LONG...... so it looks a bit bulky around the waist!

What's next?

I said that if we go through we girls' closet, we probably will not just find the similar clothes but also exactly the same ones. :P That's one of the reasons that buying is never going to end, we all want someone else's closet!! haha.......

Here I found similar wool or knitting dresses/skirts that we have and we all wear it so differently! Isn't that fun or what!!!!!?

Renee's Emilio Pucci wool skirt w/ silk fringe

I only remember her gray knit sweater is Chanel from couple seasons ago!!

This Marc Jacob's boots is from past couple season but the look is so classic!!!

Then Yu's Mission zig zag skirt

Also love her Max & Co. leather jacket from PAST~~ seasons!!

Last, my M Mission zig zag dress!

Now I think I like ~ SWIRL ~ designs of hosiery a lot......... :)

Oh, the last two pictures are just ..... we all like dressing up looking POSH sometimes!! Not particularly BOYISH, just LESS FEMININE!!! :)

Renee and her lovely friend both looks very chic in their own way!!!

We are going to Lake Tahoe tomorrow ^O^..............
Wish everyone A HAPPY NEW YEAR OF TIGER 2010!!!

Rachel - Happy New Year! You are right that friends having a huge influence on our sense of fashion and desire to purchase certain pieces. I'll be first to admit that you have made me rethink my wardrobe and try to incorporate things together that I would have otherwise not consider. Thanks!

Hope you are enjoying the holidays with your family. Hope to see you again soon.

happy new year. def have to say friends are bad influence. i feel justified buying things when girl friends do it too. def bad for wallet. as for your miu miu flats, i was so mad when my chanel sneakers had issues. when i went in demanding my money back they said it was from wear so not their fault. i wore it like less than 10 times. well, my thought is for this much money, it should be tougher than the rest.

Hi Rachel;
Happy New Year!!! I really like that grey outfit with your frye boots! But I also love the socks with the A Wang shoes!! :) Two very chic looks.
It is very true I always end up with same or similar things as my close friends. Most of the time by coincidence. That should teach us to just shop at each other's closet so we don't end up with multiple of the same things. hehehe.

Hi! R~

My hair is doing much better. Guess what? I have found this product while I was shopping at Walgreens Doo Gro Mega Thick Anti-Thinning Growth Lotion, I'm using it right now and so far I'm happy with the results. I'm amazed because after trying some many expensive treatments for my hair this product which is very inexpensive is working wonders for my hair...surprise...surprise!!

I was using Ojon products before but I just did not feel that it did anything much for my hair type.

So, for now on I'll keep using my Redken products and this new product doo gro...which I'm using once a week after washing my hair and leave in.

Have a wonderful week!!

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
