Furniture Hunting n' GiveAway!

I am doing house cleaning these days just so we can welcome the new year's coming of 2010 for a fresh start!!

Besides, when I don't feel like shopping for spring clothes just yet, I shop around new furniture instead and move around old furniture to update the interior of our house!! :P I am telling you that it is so much fun and then you might realize there could be enough space for new things such as a painting on a wall, a side table by the sofa or even a new chase or settee for a living room!!! ^O^ Oh, don't forget, maybe you even need baby cribs for your new-born!! :)

So, if you followed my blogs, you probably already knew that there are quite a few friends of mine are having babies. And I know one of the most exciting things for moms to do is to decorate baby's room. By coincident, I bought a bed from CSN stores and almost every girl friend of mine tells me how much they like the bed and asks where did I purchase it.  Now I am glad that I found their site and my friend, Ann, will be able to search one for her princess!!

Here is the pic. of the bed!! It is called Emma's treasures bed.

I bought the set of bed n' trundle together!

I love the decor. of the head board a lot.

I was so attracted by the distressed vintage look of the wood...

This is the pic. taken from the website.

I have a friend who is silly enough to ask me to return it since she thinks the bed looked SO USED already!! ^O^ I tell her...that's what DISTRESSED VINTAGE look is all about.

Now I am thinking of getting this chair to match the look of the bed. Isn't it cute!!!?

Rachel, Happy New Year to you!

Wishing you and your family all the best!

Sorry, I haven't commented on your blog in while. I have been away for the past month and a half, visiting my family back home.

But I am back now and just want to say that you look amazing as always! Somehow, you always manage to look so unique and versatile.

And I love the look of the bed and the chair, my daughter would love something similar to this.

Oh, and your long black boots, they look awesome! Also, I really like how you incorporate your new grey bag so well around all your outfits.

Please post more often, your blog is so inspirational!

Oh those are adorable! My dresser actually matches with the bed very well haha! My mom and I actually redecorated my room in September and it is such a princess room now. I know I'm probably a bit too old to have a princess room, but I think there's always an inner princess inside every female.

And yes, I did just come back from Hong Kong. I completely understand your concern with your kids taking days off school. Because they would need to take A LOT of days off, since there's not much point to go back for only a very short period of time.
I only went back for 8 days this time and it was hectic and painful as my schedule was so tightly packed, having to meet up with friends and family and running all over the city to meet them. It was painful in the sense that by the time I fully got over my jetlag, I had to come back haha. If you do go back to Taipei, how long are you planning to go for? or well, how long do you normally go for?

Wow, what a beautiful set of bedroom set indeed! You must get the matching chair as well. You have a good eye for interesting pieces. Did you see it in person first before purchasing? Sophie is getting bigger and it'd be fun to start shopping for big girl items for her as well. So what does Ilona use for her room?
I LOVE your bed and chair combo...perfect for a little princess!

My favorite piece from the website you provided is the full size folding metal crib because it's so modern and masculine. If I win the giveaway, I would like this globe for my mom's 4th graders.

Ok, I'll play! My favorite crib is the Babyletto 3-1n-1 convertible crib b/c of it's modern square shape. I blogged about it back in Nov when I was looking for my nursery crib here: http://welcometowonderlandblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/splurge-vs-steal-cribs.html

If I were to win your contest I would get this adorable hamper by Badger basket:

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

This season, there is one more thing in my never-ending clothing wish list: A Cape!!!

I never really want ONE since it never occurs to me that it is a stylish staple in one's wardrobe. :P However, I know I am always enamored by its sophisticated look!! :) Maybe one day I will indulge myself w/ a classic piece like those on the mag.

Aren't those 3 capes classic n' gorgeous!!!!

I want to share a store coupon w/ you girls. This deal is better than its offered 15% off for joining in their email list. You just have to go to "store location" page and print out the coupon and use it in different stores if you have more than ONE item that you like!!! (Please don't tell SAs that …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
