All About Shoes!!

Last year, I am crazy about Chanel handbags and this year, it is Shoes that captured my eyes.

I kept some shoes from very past seasons that I almost accede to DH's teases that they are going to be antiques in my closet!!!! ^O^ But I might just prove him wrong!!

Look at those high-gloss (patent?), simple black boots, and retro , slightly squared toe boots, aren't they familiar? Oh, and..... the suede, velvet.... glad to see the trend!! (Pictures credited to Wmagazine)

Marc Jacobs

Michael Kors

Proenza Shouler

Rag n' Bone

Gotta NEW shoes? ^O^

I really like the Michael Kors slouchy boots, and the Rodarte ones are pretty!

I've been on a real shoe bender myself this year :) Shoes are like potato chips: You can take just one.
Hi R! How are you doing?

I love the Rodarte one! Hehe!

BTW, speaking of shoes, just wanna share with you that I finally bought a nice pair of Nicholas Kirkwood shoes from London!!! It's a Mary-jane style peep-toe in teal color! See below:

Just got them yesterday and love them to death! Amazingly comfy even though the heels are high. But the size looks so small even though I bought a size 40!!! What's your size for NK BTW?

If you like this designer, currently there's a presale going on at Las Vegas Wynn called "In Step". Maybe you can give them a call and see if there's any style you fancy. :D Shipping to San Fran is only US$30 for 2 pairs of shoes without the need to pay for sales tax...hehehehhehehe! I ordered 2 pairs yesterday! :P

Oh, and Nordies is having their designer's presale too!! :D Need anymore temptation? LOL!

Have a nice day!

BTW, R, I forgot, I think the Rodarte shoes you have posted are Nicholas Kirkwood for Rodarte fall2010 collection. They are so hot! Yummy!
Michael Kors' and the Rodarte pair are my faves!

hi, Mia: I in fact bought couple of KRON mary jand styled shoes from ICELAND. Can you believe,....iceland, and it has been over a week and I didn't receive my shoes yet....GEez, I don't know...the official reassert the smoke control in Europe and clear some air Paralysis so the stranded tourists can go home but it seems they take it too slow...and my shipping will not be here when I fly back to Taipei next week.....(I assume) .... quite a bummer!!!!!!!!

i like the NK shoes you bought and it is the same color as our heels. :) Hum..i guess I shouldn't order anything at all but it won't be hurt just to take a look, is it?!!! hehe..

I wore size 39 of NK shoes. They are very narrow in the toes and I always have to stretch my toes after wearing them for a day.......
litlstrawberry said…
yes, that's NK for Rodarte...great looking but not for everyone!!! Simply an art for appreciation!!

Thanks, Kristin. I don't think anyone can resist Rodarte.....except I probably will appreciate it afar!! :P

hehe, Mother of style:
yes, shoes are every woman's nemesis!!!!!!!

You can't have only 10, 20, or even 30 pairs of shoes...haha.. (i assume you mean you CAN"T take just one)!!!!
OMG!! R!! Are these the shoes you're talking about?

They are just so preeeeeety!!! Which pairs did you buy and what colors are they?

I am liking a lot of them coz they are so fun and special (even more fun than Chie Mihara..hehe)! Now now now! What to do? You shouldn't have told my shoe craze is back!! LOL!

No worries, your shoes will arrive no matter what. Did they give you a tracking number so that you'll know where you package is?

Yes, the teal color is just so yummy! The other 2 pairs I ordered from Las Vegas are black/white and also all-black. Hope they will fit perfectly when they arrive. I bought 1 in size 41 and one in size 40 coz those are the only sizes they've got...oh well.

Anyway, everything set for Taipei? Hope you have fun over there, and let me know if you're really visiting HK in June. BTW, if I see the white base/black camellia solid color size 40 camellia jelly flip flops in Paris, I'll just buy them for you, right?

yes, Mia. They are very pretty and very special. I think Chie Mihara is more conservative and elegant. I like Kron's better now,...edge and fun!!

Oh, I bought a pair of (not on sale) (on sale)

and a Chisato top. (not on sale)

I think for NK, one pair is enough. Maybe I will want more when I saw them in the future, they are like CL shoes, someone might collect them for an obsession!!

I like Kron's soft palette, baby blue, gray and yellow...and best of all...the polka dot scattered a corner!!! :) You can pick one w/ polka dot, they are classic pattern, aren't they!!!!

Have fun shopping but don't buy too many NK shoes, they are not that comfortable for walking too long though!!!! :P
Oh R! Thanks for your advice. Yup, won't buy too many NK shoes I promise. I think 5 pairs will be my maximum. I actually stopped buying CL now coz I find that their styles are like the same and they don't "wow" me like they used to. But if I find any classic pair on sale, well, that's another story. :P Who can resist nice CLs on sale right? (Excuses!!! LOL!)

Oh I love your choices! I haven't gone to the sale page yet for the Kron's! I'm already so "confused" on the non-sale page! Hahahahha! (Oh yes, I love polka dots too!)

OK..need your serious advice (sorry for hijacking your post ...but we're talking about shoes right? LOL!). I want to buy 2 (maybe 3) pairs among these...which ones you think are the best 2 or 3?

I think I need help here or else I'm going to buy everything from the site! LOL!! I'm so hopeless!

BTW, what size should I order? Do you know the sizing? What size did you order? I think I will be a size larger than you...

Appreciate your help R! :D

hi, Mia: I think the #2 is awesome. I can see them on you and total gorgeous...the whole look is more balanced to me ... (when I think you are petite and I don't like some of those shoes to be overwhelming on your petite frame..they might take over YOU!!!!) :P

What's your final, I still don't know when will I ever receive mine.... I have tracking but they never seem to update the status.....maybe the package is still lying underneath the cargo ......hahahha..
Thanks R for your pick! Well, that's a pair I was planning to buy actually. It's in between this or pair#1 coz they look quite similar (except pair#1 has 3 bows in stead of 2).

I think I'm going to pass on the sale pair....

BTW, what size did you order? I'm not sure if I should order size 40 or 41? Seems like they don't have half sizes. Not sure how the sizes run...any idea? have tracking but no updates? Did you ask the company what's going on? What shipping company did they use BTW? I do hope you will receive the package before you leave for Taipei. always make me smile and giggle when you say I'm "petite"! LOL! Well, I'm petite in terms of vertical height, but big horizontally.....:P!

Hi, Mia: I still like #2 better ... anyhow I really think the polka dot has that special charm for those heels...

I order size 39 for myself when my normal shoe size is 38.5. Since one of mine is sling back so I am not worrying too much. But for the other shoes (on sale-red) I also place 39..... well, hopefully they are OK as those are leather, suede, velvet and I think they might fit like NK shoes....stretchy.

Hope you had fun shopping!! :)

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
