Today we took kids to SF zoo and had a great time w/ Renee's family again. The difference of this time from last week is hubby came along and we had a great food in B STAR restaurant!!!

It is located between Clemence and 2nd, 3rd st. of SF city!

The very special salad that I never had before is Tea Leaf salad... the tea imported from Burma.

The very dark..... olive green stuff is TEA.... they will mix every salad in front of you!!

All the food is wonderful and I will let yourself to explore when you are in SF city!!!

I thought that my skin gets brighter and brighter (even skin tone) these days and I'd love to share couple things w/ you!!
(ps. no foundation, no compress powder anything, only NIA 24 sunblock mixed w/ Lara Mercier tinted moisturizer as the base)

Those 3 things are my current ritual skin regime ....
The DDF, Chantecaille, and NIA 24 mineral niacin sunblock (which Oprah highly recommended)!!

Try them if you like.
I have almost done my packing and will share w/ you tomorrow!
Good day.

xoxo Rachel

hha..Kareen, I wish I can record what we done at Power Yoga and TRX the instructor is awesome. (experienced and knows how to build up every single tiny muscles of your body to make your figure LEAN and LEAN and balance.) She is very good instructor in our community and I see her as a treasure since I never pay extra dine for personal training for any other extra class fees!! ( I think a lot of awesome instructors hidden in the community center in every city and you just have to "find" one for yourself. ^^

hum..let me see if I can make that kind of post efficient and comprehensive!! :)

Julia, still, my other favorite website:

and here is a promotion code for you, MAY15 for 15%off. Please remember to mention Rachel Cheng in one of those boxes as we can get a lot of samples. (oh, no ad. here and I don't gain any penny neither. :P)

Try it, it literally seals your skin and give it a healthy glow (but somehow mix w/ tinted moisturizer works best for me than apply it alone!!)

Rachel - Thanks for sharing the tip on the makeup/skincare. As you can probably tell, I'm such a doofus when it comes to makeup and it's good to know what other people wear to look natural but still chic.

Did I mention I'll be heading to Vegas for a girls weekend away?! :) I'm going with a bunch of mommies again this year and we'll definitely be hitting the clubs. It's intimidating for me though, since I don't know how much to do my face to look more clubbish. Last year, I had to ask one of the moms to help with everything! LOL. Maybe you can do an Youtube lesson on easy makeup (eyeshadow, blush, and lips) one day, when you have time.

I'll be checking out that website now. Thanks!!

Btw - The B* restaurant looks very delish! I just went to a similar one in Richmond district called "Burma Superstar" and it was sooo good too. They also had the tea leaf salad. :D

Also, I just made an order at Skinterra. Thanks for the referral and I entered your name too. woohoo for samples!

Mona, thanks. :)

Michele: do you do any exercise at all? If you don't, I will order you to find a GYM and buy some sexy work-out clothes to start!! :)

I just read a magazine this afternoon that anyone wants to lose weight by doing YOGA, 4 times a week is an ideal to strengthen core body and tone muscles....geez, strictly speaking, no wonder I think I gain "weight" (I know, muscle weights more too!!) instead of losing it. hah....
Anyway, I think everything takes "efforts" no matter what it is!!! RIght!?

Rachel!! Yes I do exercise. But I do power yoga only once a week and power walk on treadmill, maybe twice to three times a week. But still...

I am also envious of your energy level!! I would be all dead if I have to take care of 3 kids, driving them here and there, AND at the same time, dress up nicely!! :)

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

I really need to organize my blogs into tags/categories so it will be easier for you girls to navigate on. But right now, thanks to Google for its incredible searching mechanism that I hope you still can find something useful here other than seeing me fancy and vain in the pic. haha....!!!! lol.

This season, there is one more thing in my never-ending clothing wish list: A Cape!!!

I never really want ONE since it never occurs to me that it is a stylish staple in one's wardrobe. :P However, I know I am always enamored by its sophisticated look!! :) Maybe one day I will indulge myself w/ a classic piece like those on the mag.

Aren't those 3 capes classic n' gorgeous!!!!

I want to share a store coupon w/ you girls. This deal is better than its offered 15% off for joining in their email list. You just have to go to "store location" page and print out the coupon and use it in different stores if you have more than ONE item that you like!!! (Please don't tell SAs that …

4/12 (Sun.) Day 2 in Vegas w/ Girl Friends!

First of all, I have to thank Irene for coordinating every one's schedule to make this dream trip happen.

On Sunday, we planned to treat ourselves to a beauty spa in Mandalay Bay Hotel. Our appointment at The Bathhouse spa is at 1 PM. But since yesterday we stood up so late, we didn't wake up until 11 AM. However, neither Cathy nor I think we actually fell asleep as we were still so exhausted when waked up. And I am the one who slept the least but got up from the bed the first. I went to gamble alone after clubbing till 5 or 6 in the morning. Well, the time in Vegas is too luxury to stay in bed anyway. lol Pei probably slept not bad at all as I can hear she snores persistently throughout the night. haha............

We each had either Swedish or Deep-muscle massage. I recall my last massage is when I traveled back to Taiwan. My Dad took us family to Thailand and he called for two people to our room. In Thailand, most massagers' body frame are small-built but I am surpri…
