A Travel log in Jakarta.

Mother-in-law brought over some local treats to us yesterday morning!!
They are made of starch, rice cake, coconut, vegetable dumpling, and peanut

 Senayan City Mall.

This is the Animals that eat/select the best coffee beans and then poop it as a whole since beans can't be digested. Furthermore, the beans will at its fuller aroma after passing out from these animals' digestive system.
Workers pick out those beans from their poops and wash beans out to sell!! ^O^

A Singapore brand which I like simple and chic and CHEAP of it.

The asymmetrical cut lady print t-shirt is from my mom who bought at Shang-Hai.

I bought 3 bottoms from Mphosis and this harem pants is one of them.

We brought kids to a indoor playground called "Lollipop" at 6th floor.
I didn't look for any other stuff except for accompanying 2 hours w/ kids at lollipop.

Frozen yogurt ..... we found a local treat which brings our memory back to USA!! ^^

Yummy local noodles restaurant in Taman-angrek mall.

6/23/2010 Mother-in-law brought us some noodles for lunch again.
They use banana leaves and then paper to wrap those noodles.....which we might enjoy them the same way in Straits Cafe in California but they never taste as authentic as in Indonesia!!

yum, yum, yum,

This is another pair of pants I bought from is gray and asymmetrical bottom in front!!

Karen Walker orange pearl necklace print t shirt  (Ilona sticks a sticker on my shirt which I didn't notice until I saw this

Guess where did I go the next day? ITC building/mall---where you can find the cheapest bargain stuff from all over the world! ^^ (Thanks to my reader who also recommend this place.)

Those Converse looking sneakers are cute and are labeled as Disney..... which who knows where does the brand belongs to......

This store has very cute kids clothes!

Remember, shop 4th floor above for NICER merchandise as it gets crappier work at lower levels!!
(At least that's what I heard!!)

You know what's good about those jumpers...the elastic ankle which would fit any height of girls!!

Those jean top/dress/shirt is quite nice and can easily be accessorized!!

Guess what else I bought here.....
yah~~ both yellow and pink belly dancing wraps. I remember Ann ever asked me if I want to learn belly dancing in SF w/ we can go together!!! LOL.

Tomorrow we are all staying at Bandung for 2 days!!
I am not sure if we even have internet access there.......

xoxo Rachel

Always Posh in my Own Styles.

I had a busy week, plus the last bits of planning for NYC trip.  Dinner and brunch reservations, and we even bought Hamilton musical tickets. Since we are visiting NYC during Memorial weekend, hope we can find some good bargain shopping in The Big Apple too. One thing I am sure with this girls' trip is we are going to have tons of fun before one of my gf goes to law school this fall. It is a clean slate for her and I am sure it will also be a magnificent journey down the road.
Back to my all time passion: Fashion. I like fine garments and I collect them to do mix and match over past seasons. However, what makes my style unique is intricate cuttings and perfect fitting that flatter my body. I don't follow trends just to claim I am fashion forward. I have my own methods of sorting through marketing injected advertisements for the best seasonal looks. Popularity isn't gained from what brands you wear but what styles you choose to wear. I wear street fashion in discretion just…

Wedge + Clog ! MINE is Clog + Heel!

pic. courtesy from WhoWhatWhere website.

I came across this Max Mara clog heels. I can't help myself buying it.

Now I am very excited.....why? Cause' it is extraordinary. I love the golden studded along the leather and since I don't like wedge too much, this stiletto is perfect for me.

So, did you see the bottom picture to the right? Kate Olsen!!? or Dree Hemingway's looks might work w/ Max Mara clog heels. ( Whose pic. is the very first one w/ fuchsia vest) Normally I am not a copy cat, but this time, I will see if I have something similar like what she wears w/. Yes, that will be a good start to tackle this pair of heels.

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
