Happy 5th Birthday, Niel!!!

My oldest son, Niel, turns 5 today on July 31st. Happy Birthday, Niel!!

We had his birthday party last week and it is great opportunity to meet w/ old friends and new friends of his and my own. Every year, kids' birthday party is the biggest even for me as I have 3 children and normally I don't have that much energy to hold a party for each 3 of them. But I always like to take that chance to get all my friends together!!

These are all the little favors and activities/craft I prepared for the party. I always prepare the most unique favors/craft I could find for my little guests!! :)

The day I am making brats on the take-out favor boxes!!

Half way there!! Polka Dot favor wraps are for girls.

Besides favors boxes, every kid has little gift from Niel to take home w/!
Girls take home w/ cute wooden hanger!!

I found this Beeswax sheet in a toy store.

I decided to let every kid has their candles to blow instead of blowing onto the birthday cake we are about to consume!! lol All they have to do is just press the wicks along one side of the sheet and then roll all the way!! Then you will have an all nature Beeswax candle of your own!!

Beeswax candle doesn't contain any synthetic compound and thus is safe for kids to hold!!

TIPS: If you place the sheet in the refrigerate for 24 hr. ahead of time, it won't drip wax when lightened up!

Last step: embossing each favor boxes!

Race cars are for boys, cute key caps/fairies are for girls.

This is what's inside each favor boxes; wooden whistle, kids art clip n' chocolate.

Finally I am done all the goodies/favors!!

Kids all had a blast throwing water balloons! lol

My ensemble: BCBG runway dress (last year)
Y-3 ruched sheer cropped jacket
Michael kors brown oxford boots w/ ribbon lace
Chanel black bow earrings 09 s/s

Rachel - It looks like we missed a great party! Those party favors look very nice and I might even say that they are nicer than many of the wedding favors I've seen out there. :)

What a fun way to wear your BCBG dress! I remember being very impressed with the same dress (but different look) and your clutch from last year. Those fun boots definitely gives it a different touch.

Hi, Betsy:
yup...I, in fact, prepared your Mason and Sophie's favors..but it turns out Ann and Jenny(tpfer) is coming at last min. So I had to give to them instead...sorry!! :P

Well, my friend asked me how come I wore that same dress twice!!! *sigh* I am not celebrity, so better just make my money worth it, besides, it is a pretty dress and it will be a shame just leave it in my closet...right?!! :)

Still proper, Fendi leather skirt!

I worn my Fendi skirt to the city for dinner last night. San Francisco's weather is perfect for wearing leather anything.... It is almost windy all the time around the bay and I find leather is the best shield for blocking out brutal wind in the city. I even like it better than wearing a trench coat.

Over the years I acquired enough leather jackets, leather mini skirt and leather pants but I'm lacking long leather skirt in my wardrobe. Not only is the fact that a good looking long leather skirt is hard to come by but also a thought that it might be cumbersome to move around in it. Hum..... but you know what, all these uncertainty is redundant the moment I see Fendi 2015 fall/winter runway leather long skirt with pony hair. Ha~ the right moment comes with the right item, I am grabbing it. If you know which one I am talking about, you know I got myself a double-shield wind-proof skirt. lol.... As you can see I'm very into Fendi especially Monster collection at this moment. …

How Life is ... How You Respond to it?

After almost a year and a half hiatus, I am back writing my blogs again. There are a lot of memorable activities that happened and I recently moved to another house, which I can say without a doubt, is my dream house. It has a nice swimming pool, great landscapes, and a media room in the basement. I always feel unsettled at first when I move into a new place but once I have a vision of how I can make it my home, I'd start the remodel right away. You do everything you can to make yourself "comfortable" in every circumstance, right?
I am here at Reno now. Not for skiing, not for gambling, but for my girl's volleyball tournament. A lot of you didn't know I have a daughter who's going to be 13 this year and I am so proud of her unique talents. What do we call them?  iGeneration. The most precious years of their life: teenage years. They are mostly on their own, developing their personality, their existence, and identifying their self-worth. All we paren…
